For my final project in the Digital Photography course at the Minneapolis College of Art and Design, I challenged myself to expand my capabilities by taking on multiple roles in the creative process, from creative direction to editing. My journey with photography began in the digital realm, and this project reflects that foundation while pushing boundaries by incorporating more complex elements. This approach allowed me to deepen my practice and explore new dimensions of the medium.
As part of this project, I collaborated with Ivonne Yañez, an accomplished multidisciplinary artist and my Installation professor this semester. By merging her striking body of work with my artistic vision, we created a series of images that delve into our individual and shared essences. This collaboration celebrates creativity, teamwork, and the fusion of our distinct perspectives, resulting in a vibrant, dynamic body of work.
